New to Combat Zone - Outdoor Laser Tag

Laser Tag is the "no pain" alternative to paintball.  It's great fun and played on our existing fields - "Bush Battles" and "Trench Warfare".  We are also building a smaller course to accommodate smaller groups to make it even more enjoyable and enabling everyone to get more involved.

Games are set for 20 minutes with extra time allowed for downloading of scores etc.  The number of games played during allowable time depends on the groups organisation and ability.  Guns are configured according to age and ability i.e. we keep it simple for younger players.

Taggers - XM22's

There is no pain involved in Laser Tag.  The "laser" is really just a light beam which sets off the sensors on either your cap or gun if you are "hit".  The taggers are robust and made for the outdoors, however, being electronic equipment we prefer not to use them in adverse weather conditions.

The taggers each have individual names; Rambo, Venom, Ronin and Sarge to name a few, and they can be set for up to 4 teams or games can be played as individuals.  If you are hit the tagger registers a hit with an audiable "Oow".  "Man down, man down!  Get the Medic" is called by your tagger if you lose all of your "health points" or lives.

Taggers can be set for Military or Sci-Fi firing sounds. They also have the option of Burst, Semi-Auto or Fully Automatic firing.

We can also set the taggers to "Respawn" if you are tagged out.  The possibilitis are endless and there are many game senarios available.  As mentioned above, we like to keep it simple for younger players or those new to the game, but please talk to us if you would like to know about more options.
