Combat Zone was established late in 2006. It is a most beautiful piece of land just 7kms from Whitianga township. The lovely Kaimarama River runs through the property with several water holes along the way. The back drop of native bush is absolutely beautiful and Nikau Palms are plentiful. Wood Pigeon’s, Tui’s and Fantails are seen and heard daily.
Combat Zone’s "Bush Battles" paintball field is situated across the river in a portion of our forestry block with regenerating native bush and plenty of hiding places, tracks, and even a natural “trench”. Many players like to sneak along the river’s edge which creates one boundary.
A “safety zone” is situated in the centre of the playing field protected by 4 metre high shelter cloth which the paintballs are unable to penetrate. Players taking a break or those not wishing to participate can watch some of the play from within this area.
Our "Trench Warfare" field is relatively new and proving VERY popular (see our Paintball page for more details).

Paintball is just part of the Combat Zone experience. We invite you to swim in a water hole, bring food for the barbeque, let the younger ones enjoy some Target shooting (the older ones enjoy it too), take a bush walk or say hi to our animals.
